Although she was ridiculed for most of her life, she was a very strong and fearless lady.
Mary Ann was born in London in 1874 and grew up in a poor but large household. She has worked as a nurse since she was a child.
The girl met Thomas Bevan when she was 29 years old, and they married shortly after. The couple has four kids. However, the woman’s health started to deteriorate when she was 32 years old.
Her joints started hurting, she had migraines, and getting out of bed became difficult at times. Doctors had no idea what was wrong with her, and she couldn’t lie down since she needed to work.
Her facial features distorted and grew longer over time, while her limbs became thicker and rougher.
Mary Ann, formerly a pretty and delightful young woman, has lost her femininity. During that difficult time, Mary’s husband was wonderfully supportive and adored her.
