Mysterious story: this mansion in England is abandoned and we don’t know where the owners are

In a village in England called Kings Langley, located in Hertfordshire county, there is an abandoned mansion.

No, it’s not a collapsed or damaged mansion. The building and its interior, along with all the objects, have suffered no damage.

The million-dollar mansion in England has been abandoned since 2017, and so far, the whereabouts of the owners remain unknown.

An explorer managed to enter the building and photograph all the rooms.

The villagers say that a family lived in this property for 20 years, but almost five years ago, they mysteriously left the property, leaving behind all their valuable belongings.

And to whom did this abandoned castle belong? No name appears in the land registry.

The owner’s data belongs to the company Ainhurst Enterprises Ltd.

According to this company, a Greek man named Athanasios Tachmintzis lived there with his family since 1999. The millionaire lived here for over 20 years with his wife and three of his five children.

Neighbors further told the media that after his wife passed away due to cancer, the man’s behavior became quite strange.

The mansion was guarded 24/7.

They lived like this for 13 years, and one day, the Tachmintzis family left the mansion and has not returned.

“The disappearance of the family is a real mystery, as no one knows what happened to them,” said the villagers to the Daily Mail.

When asked about his tour, the explorer assured that he had never seen an abandoned house so well-preserved.

“It was as if the family living there got up in the middle of the night and fled without taking anything.

It must have been a very quick escape, as even the chess pieces remained on the table with a game in progress,” the man recounted.
