Chaz Sanders and her husband were sitting on the sofa on a lovely autumn day when they noticed a peculiar noise emanating from the living room. Because the Sanders have two dogs, they left the front door open to let them out.
When they went to investigate, they were both taken aback when they discovered a rooster roaming through their living room as if he owned the area.
Because they don’t have any close neighbors, the situation was much more perplexing.
“We don’t have any neighbors for approximately 2 miles other than relatives, so we have no idea how he got there,” the woman explained.
Chaz and the family are also animal lovers, so they immediately offered their uninvited visitor some food, which he eagerly accepted. But suddenly he became disoriented.
Until one morning, when he reappeared from nowhere. This time it’ll be different.
“I fell in love with him right away,” Chaz told THE DODO. “I’ve always been around animals, but I’ve never kept any birds or chicks.” He follows us around like a dog and enjoys being the center of attention. He essentially took over and now acts as he pleases.”
The Sanders had no intention of adopting a rooster, but you can’t say no to a bird with such a personality. As a result, they adopted him as a member of the family, and they now can’t fathom life without Ronnie.
Ronnie is not just a fantastic friend to Chaz and her husband, but also to their dogs.
The witnesses described him as a “diva” who “acts like a teenager.” “If he doesn’t get his way, he shouts, and he will do what you want him to do, but only after you tell him a couple of times.”
No one knows where Ronnie came from so far, but they’re all delighted he chose to stay!
