While buying an old farm, a couple discovers 15 cats: they decide to keep all 15 cats that came with the purchase

The purchase of a new home is an important act in everyone’s life.

This is an opportunity for some to expand their family… Emily Bott and Dylan Loewke have not only acquired an old farm, but also… about fifteen cats.

The first thing the couple noticed when they visited the grounds were the cats casually wandering around the yard.

Their number left him speechless: in total, 15 felines have taken up residence there. The real estate agent told her that they would all have left before she moved in.

But another plan sprung up in Dylan Loewke’s head.

“My boyfriend asked for the cats to stay on the property. At first, I was worried only because I had never owned a cat before,” Emily Bott told The Dodo.

“However, at the time, I was working for a local humanitarian association and I knew that I could have them all sterilized and even rehoused if absolutely necessary.

The previous owners had left food for the animals. Of all the care needed, only food was visibly satisfied. Indeed, several cats suffered from health problems and none of them had been sterilized.

Within the clan, only a cat, named Valencia, dared approach her benefactors. Over time, a great friendship was born.

Valencia has even taken to running down the driveway to greet Emily, when she hears the car coming.

As for the other felines, it took several months to coax them.

“I’ve spent many nights sitting outside throwing treats at them, giving them catnip and enticing them with toys,” Dylan’s partner shared.
