Jason Belisha sensed something had happened with the stray grey kitten who emerged in front of him when he returned to his car, screamed and cried for aid under the motor.
A Georgian man couldn’t take the cat’s sweetness or his precarious circumstances, so he took him in and helped him find a new home.
When the cat first spotted Jason, he didn’t think twice about approaching him, sniffing his fragrance and rubbing his body against his. The guy was in desperate need of love!
“I was returning a rental car when I heard this little boy meowing beneath the car next to me, so I bent down and he came right up to me,” says the narrator.
Jason patted the cat for a few moments before putting him down. The kitty couldn’t get enough of Jason’s attention and affection, so she cuddled, cried, and followed him about.
He was tenacious and persistent enough to demonstrate that Jason was his biological father. Finally, the good-hearted man picked up the cat and drove away.
Jason could only drive with one hand on the way home because the other was occupied by the miserable kitty who needed attention. Jason’s arm was cuddled by the cat, who promptly fell asleep.
“He was just naturally pleasant and sweet,” the man explained.
Jason christened the kitten Popeye and brought him home. Jason’s pooch pal was a corgi dog that Popeye discovered.
Popeye and the corgi dog’s friendship blossomed all of a sudden when Jason introduced them.
Jason’s friend found Popeye to be so nice and cuddly that they wanted to adopt him a week later. Jason was first heartbroken, but he eventually chose to give Popeye to a friend and promised to visit the small cat on a regular basis.
