A lady was out walking the puppy when she discovered a litter of 1-day-old kittens frozen solid in the shrubbery, with no sign of their mother. They couldn’t hold her head up because the kittens were so frail and small.
The woman sought assistance from a rescue shelter, which contacted a foster mother named Nikki Martinez to save the kittens.
Nikki and her husband rushed to the scene, picked up the kittens, and warmed them up in the car using the heating vents. They were only one day old at the time, and the couple was worried about their survival.
Thankfully, the infants began to improve, and the couple was overjoyed. They carried them home and nursed them back to health since the couple was determined to save their lives. Unfortunately, Bagel, one of the babies, required more assistance than the others. She stopped eating and began to lose weight rapidly.
Despite the challenges of caring for Bagel, Nikki and her spouse never gave up and did everything they could to ensure her survival. Fortunately, Bagel was given a chance to live, and she has grown into a powerful and feisty young woman. She became so adorable and playful that she was looking for a forever home.
