Karissa Lerch, a Durham, North Carolina resident, has always desired a dog. But she also realized that having a furry pet in the house came with a lot of duties.
Aside from that, she couldn’t afford to raise a puppy during her college years. So she went to Toys-R-Us and bought a toy wolf instead!
The goal turned out to be true after a few years when she got an Alaskan Malamute puppy. And the woman decided it would be great to give Luca – her furry ball pal – her old plush companion.
What Karissa didn’t realize was that the puppy had discovered his best companion in that stuffed animal.
The lady commented on Reddit, “I gave the plush animal down to her and she has had it by her side at all times since.” “It’s her child.”
She always has it with her when she goes to bed and brings it around with her everywhere she goes. [Luca] treats it with great care.”
The toy, which was previously known as Luca, was renamed Mr. Wolf since having two Luca in the household would have been confusing.
However, given that Luca damaged all of her cuddly toys, the family finds this special interaction between the lovely pooch and her best pal unusual. Mr. Wolf, it goes without saying, isn’t even “dog durable,” according to Karissa.
Because the toy matches Luca, she is likely to believe it is one of her own kind. Luca cuddling with the soft toy, on the other hand, won hearts all around the world!
