Dogs and cats have a reputation for not liking each other. Somehow, they don’t usually like each other and fight, but this charming dog proves otherwise.
The dog Raylan recently went viral because of a video of him looking after some kittens. It shows how caring and gentle the dog and cat relationship can be.
Raylan is acting as a father to a bunch of foster cats, taking care of them and loving them until they find a home. The kittens either lost their mother or were abandoned by their owners.

I found out he liked cats when we brought our first foster cat in 6 years ago, when Raylan was 3. He wanted to play with him right away, and he was very patient and kind. Now that cat is our neighbor and they get together often.”
“Raylan was adopted from a shelter where he was to be put down. Nobody wanted him because he had so much energy and wasn’t trained, but clearly nobody had ever tried to train him.”
Raylan has taken care of over 60 kittens in his 9 years of life.
“He constantly washes them (which is very useful when they’re so small), plays with them, and carries them around. He also stops them if they try to scratch the couch.”
