“He really loved the attention, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. She is in our garden every day, ”Sarah said of her Benji’s friendship with the affectionate black cat who accompanies them every day during their morning walks.
Every time someone wants to make a reference to two sworn enemies, she talks about cats and dogs. There is something between these two species (perhaps a historical struggle to be the predominant pet?) That leads them to have an enmity from the moment they arrive at earth.
Some breeds of dogs have in their genetic code to chase feline animals and the like, while the vast majority of cats will not approach a dog, unless it is strictly necessary.
But there are always exceptions to the rule. Still, Benji and his friend Black Cat took the “exception” one step further.
This is because the two UK resident animals are much more than tolerant and friendly to each other. Benji and the pussycat are best friends, to the point that they choose to spend most of their time together, and even get sad when they don’t spend time together.
Luckily, the activity in which they met is always going to be there for them.
This was Benji’s morning walk, to which he is taken by Sarah, his owner. It was in one of these that she noticed they had a companion with jet-colored fur:
After that fortuitous morning, the cat began to visit Benji every day.
Realizing how much Benji valued these visits, Sarah began to leave a box and some cat food on her patio. This is how she managed to create the perfect space for the two pets to meet.
