Big dog babysits little puppy: he’s so gentle with that puppy it just melts our hearts

If you are familiar with a cartoon called Tom and Jerry (1940), then you also know that the famous cat and mouse duo and rivals aren’t the only ones on the show.

Aside from having other cats and the lady in the house whose only physical appearances are her legs and feet, there’s another duo that’s somehow gotten into the hearts of viewers.

They are Spike and Tyke. This father and son team are American Bulldogs who often make cameos and sometimes have stories revolve around them.

Spike is a loving father, generally friendly and amiable but will not hesitate to give a good pounding born of rage when he has to defend his son, Tyke.

Well these two could pass for the father and son characters. There’s no mention as to what their relationship is, but the way the tiny puppy is sitting snug by the bigger dog indicates a genuine closeness between them.

The big one is a very handsome American Pit Bull. His shiny coat is an almost black-like dark brown. His face is typical of his breed. Serious, intimidating, with very alert eyes.

Check out those muscles too! This bro hits the gym!

The puppy is a direct contrast to his guardian. Small and white, with a very innocent face full of curiosity and wonder. It’s a good thing he’s got that huge guy with him. Flex those pecs, big boy!

Someone’s got to knock out annoying cats for the little guy!
