A dog who hates snow overcomes her revulsion to say hello to her best friend

Pax and Penny aren’t just neighbors, they’re best friends. The 2 dogs are used to meeting near the fence separating their gardens to greet each other.

But the snow has made a comeback: Penny no longer dared put her paw outside, to the great displeasure of her comrade.

A beautiful friendship was born in March 2021. Pax met his new neighbor, Penny, who was 3 months old at the time.

Their owners witnessed a real love at first sight. Since then, the 2 dogs say “Hello” to each other daily above the fence.
Their families have even installed a small door, so that they can fully play together.

“Pax started looking for her every time he went out, and as soon as she could get to the top of the fence, we looked out the window to see them greeting and kissing every day,” Emily Thomas shared. To bed.

In addition to exchanging a few kisses with the tip of the nose, furballs sometimes share their toys. Everything indicated that nothing could ever separate these 2 kindred spirits…until it started to snow.

Love is stronger than anything
Penny doesn’t like snow or rain, which she avoids as much as possible. “When we’ve had a lot of snow over the past few weeks, she wasn’t happy and didn’t really want to go out,” Emily Thomas explained.

“We often noticed Pax standing on the other side of the fence. He clearly missed her. This sudden separation broke the Golden Retriever’s heart.

Sensitive to her grief, Penny’s adoptive parents decided to take matters into their own hands in order to reunite them. To do this, they cleared the snow from their garden, so as to create a small path.

Since that day, Penny feels more at ease in the Nivean mass. She even has fun with Pax! “They’ve had play sessions in the snow almost every day since,” added Emily Thomas.
