One of 97-year-old Janet Bill’s happiest childhood memories was of riding Morgan horses, one of the first breeds developed in the United States.
Despite her illnesses and fragile body, she wanted one last horseback ride.
It was one of her most important wishes to be able to ride horses again.
She was determined to get back on her feet, and she just didn’t want to take no for an answer.
In the end her family reached out to Cottonwood Creek Ranch to help Janet realize her wish.
Thus they realize a 97-year-old woman’s wish and help her ride a horse again. It was a very emotional moment for the woman.
Ranch staff knew Stretch would be the perfect Morgan horse for Janet’s purpose.
Janet was moved to tears the moment she laid eyes on him. Even her family was touched to see Janet get so emotional.
The woman and beautiful horse bonded in an instant, as the woman rode with a beautiful horse, it let her reminisce about the good old days.
Everyone was in tears of joy even as they witness Janet’s beautiful and eventful day with Stretch.
